UPDATE ... at last!

Hi loyal readers. I want to apologize for not updating you more. I know that I have not been a responsible Bichon blogger. You've got to cut me some slack though, I've been very busy!

To compensate for this I am giving you some new content. Here are some recent pics from the move that I was involved in. Goodby green shag! You'll note my toy crate in the background of these shots ... its looking a little under funded, wouldn't you agree?

I thought that me in a box was a little boring as far as photo shoots were concerned, but the hotographer disagreed. What do i know? I'm just the talent. They don't pay me to make decisions, they pay me to look cute.

I've also included a pic that I DID NOT authorize of me getting a little comfy after the move with a feather bed. Paparazzi!!!

Me from a recent online poker game, down at the bottom. Yeah, I'm good. My fluff allows me to conceal cards ...

Bichon Blog Back in Business!

Where is Solti?

I see a bed ...

*GASP* It's moving! What lies beneath the innocent looking pad? NONE OTHER THAN SOLTI (me) HIMSELF!!!

The people bought a new memory card (FOR ME TO CHEW! Later ...) and snapped these photos of me lying in wait and then pouncing. Back to the drawing board to come up with secret hiding places.

Ok, so recently I chewed the camera up. There, I said it. My people were taking terrible, embarassing photos of me so I had to be pro-active. Let that be a lesson to all amateur photographers of Bichons. Grrr.

But, in order to satisfy my readers I have decided to share with you a very funny comic. It is something all male Bichons (myself included) can relate to.

A New Toy!

So in recognition of my patience and good humour (and because they finally got the hint that i need something to chew after I went through their stuff) I was rewarded with a new bone to chew on! I love bones! Sometimes my people are OK...

Bath Day

This is me from this weekend, after my bath. Oh man. I really hate this process. Bichons, although we are a sea going breed from early on in our storied history, are not keen on getting wet. I am not a Labrador. Nor am I retriever, golden or otherwise. I like to drink water, not be dunked in it. But every so often the people decide that its time for me to be subjected to this cruel practice and into the shower I go.

One nice thing though about the after bath treatment is the hair dryer. I have thick, curly hair so just rubbing me with the towel will not do. Even though it is hot in Las Vegas, I need to be properly fluffed. So I get the gun, which I like.

Here's me from after blowdrying and prior to my proper hair styling (left). The final prodcut is much more seemly,as you can tell (right). Believe me, it takes a lot of pulling and yanking of my freshly cleaned hair to achieve this look. I'm squinting in the pic because the flash was too bright. *Sigh* Amateur photographers...

These pictures SHOULD be in focus. Contact me about getting a better camera for my people.

My Favorite Toy

Booda Bear is my favorite toy. Look at his ridicuous outfit! A dirty vest! Ha! He hates it when I chew him, that's why he squeaks. But he needs a good chewing now and then.
I had a Booda Reindeer once, but he was lost during an overnight stay *sigh*. He was a good guy. It took time to get used to Bear, but he's OK.
